The Beaufort County Board of Education will have a two-day work session on Friday and Saturday at the school district offices, 2900 Mink Point Blvd. in Beaufort.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Friday. Friday's agenda includes an overview of Robert's Rules of Order and the Freedom of Information Act for board members, a review of the district's bond program and the New River TIF expiration, information on the 2013 reassessment process and information on several academic services within the district. The board will also receive iPads and go through training as they move toward going paperless.
The Saturday meeting will start at 9 a.m. Agenda items for that day include naming board members to a variety of committees, an update on the district's pay-for-performance study, an overview of the budget process, and revision of this year's board calendar.
