Military members looking to refine skills they’ve gained in the military to match the demands of employers can now participate in a transitioning military training program at the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
The program will begin by developing and offering a course helps those with military aviation mechanics knowledge earn their FAA Airframe and Power Plant license. The course will prepare students for their written, oral and practical application tests for general mechanic, airframe, and power plant certification. The course will also familiarize the students with various aspects of the aerospace industry with a focus on manufacturing. The course begins in February.
