We ran a story today about the Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes. In case you're not familiar (don't worry, I really wasn't either), the feast is an Italian Christmas tradition, featuring a multi-course meal of fish and seafood. Or, as Mario Batali puts it, "It's what Italians do when they say they're fasting." Read more here.
My foodie friend Ann-Marie (@HHIF_andB) asked about local feasts. So far, I've come across two on Hilton Head: One at Michael Anthony's and another at the new Ombra Cucina Rustica. (Somewhat interesting sidenote: Ombra's chef/owner is Michael Cirafesi, the former chef at Michael Anthony's. His new restaurant is located in the Wexford spot that used to belong to Antonio's, which used to have its own Feast of the Seven Fishes.)
Do you know of any other restaurants preparing feasts locally?
UPDATE: Hugo's on Hilton Head is also having a feast.
