The Music to Your Mouth culinary festival isn't until November, but it's roster is already full with award-winning chefs.
Multiple James Beard Award winners are scheduled to cook up samples for the masses, including Charleston's Sean Brock and Mike Lata and Birmingham, Ala., chef Chris Hastings, who won the Best Chef of the South award this year. Another Beard honoree, John T Edge of the Southern Foodways Alliance (and occasional Iron Chef judge), will serve as the host. For the list of chefs, click here.
Music to Your Mouth is about a week's worth of events from Nov. 13-18 in Palmetto Bluff. The main event is the culinary festival, where the guest chefs cook and the guest vintners pour. It's the most exclusive food fest Beaufort County has to offer and certainly the price reflects that (tickets to the culinary festival are $225). Start saving your pennies now.
