The Beaufort County Board of Education superintendent search committee will meet in a closed session at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the next superintendent's salary. The meeting will be in the executive conference room by the Beaufort County Council chambers, 100 Ribaut Road in Beaufort. Click here for the full agenda.

A variety of classes are being offered this fall at the Technical College of the Lowcountry's New River campus in Bluffton. Classes include rug hooking, couponing and social media for businesses. A certification course for those interested in becoming a veterinary assistant will be offered from January to April.

The Bridges Preparatory School Board of Directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Wardle Family YMCA, 1801 Richmond Ave. in Port Royal.

The Riverview Charter School board of directors will meet at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the school, 81 Savannah Highway. The meeting will begin with an executive session for discussion of pending legal matters. The public session should start in the media center at about 7:15 p.m.
