IN THEATERS

Out today is the latest remake of another foreign horror movie, "Shutter." It hasn't been reviewed early for critics so there's no help there. The story follows a couple, Ben and Jane, who on their honeymoon get into a car accident and they're almost sure that it was a person they have hit. Once out of the car, there's nothing to be seen. So while on their trip to Japan in which Ben is also involved in a photo shoot, strange blurs appear in all the photos. The couple come to realize that the strange markings are that of the girl they hit who is now out for revenge.

IN THEATERS

Out today is the thriller, "Funny Games." Directed by Michael Haneke, the original was made 10 years ago by the same director, yet was a foreign film. So why did he feel inclined to make a near carbon copy of the original yet in English? To simply expand on it's audience. Makes sense.

Out today in theaters is "College Road Trip" Starring Martin Lawrence. This is one that you will be able to take the whole family to. Whether it's good or not is yet to be seen. Nonetheless, it's about a father who insists on tagging along on his daughter's only road trip to visit prospective universities. Melanie (Raven Symone) is your typical 17-year-old who wants to start her independence, and Lawrence is the typical dad who doesn't want to let go.

IN THEATERS

Out in theaters today is "Semi-Pro" the latest Will Ferrell comedy. The fact that it's Ferrell's movie will bring in crowds regardless of plot or critics' ratings, so further comment isn't even needed. Nevertheless, it's the story of Jackie Moon (Ferrell) who dreams of having a basketball team. The only problem is that his franchise is one of the worst in the league and now they are about to merge with the NBA, leaving them forced to come together and try and pull out some victories.

The highly advertised "Jumper" movie made its way into theaters on Valentine's Day starring Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson. Christensen stars as the lead "jumper" who has the gift to transport himself anywhere in the world. It's a power that has existed for centuries and that many other people possess. He's soon thrown into a battle though between people of his own kind and the others that are out to kill them. Samuel L. Jackson stars as one of the evil "Paladins" who's mission is to wipe out all the Jumpers for their existence is deemed to powerful.

Opening today is "Fool's Gold." It's the second go-round for Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson after the 2003 hit "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." This time they're playing on-the-rocks couple Finn and Tess who go in search of sunken treasure with all sorts of obstacles standing in their way. Think of it as an update of "Romancing the Stone."

These delegates aren't bound by their state's caucus or primary results; they've got the leeway to pick whichever candidate they want, and then change their minds. And their vote counts as much as other delegates chosen by thousands of voters.
