Out today is the vacation comedy, “Couples Retreat.” Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman star as two of four couples who vacation together to a tropical island resort. Little do they know, the location is not so much there for relaxation purposes, but is merely a backdrop to serve as the resort’s therapy sessions that are not quite optional. It’s then the couples realize that group-rate vacations always come with a price.

Out today is the roller derby comedy, “Whip It.”

This is the story of an out-of-control girl named Bliss (Ellen Page) who is tired of her mother trying to push her into beauty pageants. So in an attempt to act out even more and just be difficult, she does the opposite and joins a roller derby team. Kristen Wiig and Drew Barrymore are among the girls who take Bliss under their wing and welcome her to a world where she can finally be herself.

Out today is the science fiction/horror movie “Pandorum.” Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster star as two astronauts who wake up aboard a ship, in the middle of space and have no memory of any past events. They believe they are the only ones aboard and soon discover something more terrifying than they ever would have thought.
Now it’s up to the two crew members to save not only themselves, but possibly all of mankind due to a disease called Pandorum, which causes the brain to turn against itself after you’ve traveled in deep space for too long.
