If oysters aren't your thing, Remy's will have pulled pork, hamburgers and White Liquor (the Rolling Stones cover band, of course).

Hannah created some Double Chocolate Peppermint Bark for this month's Sugar Buzz. It's a balanced combination of peppermint white chocolate and rich dark chocolate with a candy cane treat on top. I can't imagine how the holidays could get much more tasty than that (and that includes fruit cake).

The Hilton Head Oyster Festival is the next big fest in what's been a busy oyster season. The Island Rec-produced event lasts two days - Saturday and Sunday - at Shelter Cove Community Park. As it turns out, I'm actually considering going both days (not sure if oyster overdose is a real thing).

If you're not that into oysters, plenty is going on over the next few weeks. Log in and let me know if there's anything else cool happening.
