We're a week into November, so that means it's time to get into the holiday spirit whether you like it or not. Christmas music isn't populating the airwaves quite yet, but Thanksgiving spirit is in the air.

Before you start deep-frying your own bird or whatever, a few local chefs are hosting Thanksgiving cooking classes. Read on for details.

The oyster roast season has arrived. Capt. Woody's of Hilton Head hosts its first of five monthly roasts this Saturday at Palmetto Bay Marina.

If you can't make this one, don't fret. Capt. Woody's holds a roast the first Saturday of each month through March.

In case you've had your fill of snack-sized Snickers and Tootsie Rolls already, venture out this weekend to get your fill of some other types of treats.

The Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival has been going on all week, but the best is yet to come.

The Street Fest in old town Saturday and Sunday features music, local seafood, and arts and crafts throughout the day. And, it's not too late to attend the "dine around town" tonight, where five Bluffton restaurants offer special tapas menus.

The Pizza Cone is about to get Unwrapped.

A Food Network film crew was in town today to shoot footage at Pino Gelato for an upcoming episode of Unwrapped, the show that takes viewers behind the scenes to see how foods get made.

Chili, of course. For the most part, the forecast calls for pleasant weather Saturday for the 25th annual Kiwanis Chili Cookoff at Honey Horn.
