After all the contentiousness and drama from the accommodation-tax grant awards two weeks ago, Town of Hilton Head Island meetings this week likely will be a little less popcorn-worthy.
The 114-page document outlines the department’s services, goals and assessments. It also includes about 54 items the department is asking the commission to consider adding to the plan.
The list covers a range of procedural changes and capital projects. Items and issues include fireworks, open burning and a fire-rescue boat. The committee will meet a couple times later this month to discuss the items.
Next week doesn’t look much rowdier.
On Tuesday, Town Council will hear year-end staff reports about completed projects and updates on those still ongoing. See the agenda here .
And Wednesday, the Land Management Ordinance Committee will consider removing the limit of stories and parking levels within a maximum building height. See the agenda here .
