A proposed development agreement for the Port of Port Royal is on the town council agenda to be discussed and voted on during January.
Public hearings are scheduled for the work session Wednesday and Jan 9. A second and final vote on the agreement with the S.C. State Ports Authority is expected Jan. 9.

The proposed agreement is for five years and shares many elements of the previous development agreement between the Ports Authority and the town. The full text, along with meeting agenda, are attached below.
