Traffic will be reduced to one lane on William Hilton Parkway (U.S. 278 Business) at the Village at Wexford and New Orleans Road and Wexford Drive and Shipyard Drive intersections beginning tomorrow night.
The Town of Hilton Head Island will begin closing lanes at 7 p.m. Thursday to allow construction crews to install pavement markings for a new bicycle and pedestrian crosswalk on the parkway.
All lanes will reopen by 7 a.m. Friday, according to the town.
Traffic will be controlled through the work zone via signs, traffic control devices and flagman.
