The Town of Hilton Head Island will begin construction Tuesday on a pathway along the east side of Dunnagans Alley, from Arrow Road to Palmetto Bay Road, and along the north side of Palmetto Bay Road, from Dunnagans Alley to Target Road.
Construction is expected to last 60 days. Adjacent roads will remain open to traffic, however, temporary lane, shoulder and driveway closures might be required, according to the town.
Traffic will be controlled through the work zone with signs, flaggers and other devices.
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
