Anybody been to the new Plums in Bluffton yet? It's been open a few weeks, but the grand opening is May 22.

Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration May 22
(Bluffton, SC) – Plums Restaurant, an eclectic lunch and dinner bistro based in Beaufort, S.C, expanded recently to Bluffton’s Belfair Town Village and is planning a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, May 22, from 5:30 -7 p.m. Festivities will include samples of Plums’ signature “Creative Lowcountry Cuisine” as well as various restaurant giveaways.
Known for its commitment to utilizing fresh, locally sourced products, Plums aims to continue growing its partnerships with local and regional farmers to continue its innovative offerings.
“We’ve had a great few weeks here in Bluffton. We opened softly last month to ensure we put our best foot forward when our doors are opened by the masses,” Plums Owner Lantz Price stated.
“We offer excellence and creativity and we are so excited to be able to share it with so many new friends.”
The new restaurant mimics the original Beaufort establishment in terms of design, style and menu offerings. Chef Erik Thorsen, formerly of Savannah’s Sapphire Grill and a long time employee of Plums Inc., serves as head chef of the Bluffton location.
“We remain distinctly Plums and having Chef Erik in our kitchen provides such a sense of leadership and familiarity. It’s been a great process so far all around,” Price said.
