This year’s RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing hasn’t started yet, but it’s already capturing national attention.
Harbour Town Golf Links was featured in a story posted Monday to www.forbes.com, examining the reasons for the course’s popularity among PGA Tour players.
The course was voted the players’ favorite in a recent survey conducted by Golf World magazine.
The website attracts about 297,000 viewers daily and 9 million monthly, according to Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce spokeswoman Charlie Clark.
Clark added that the story’s author, Larry Olmsted, has written features about Hilton Head Island for USA Today and other publications.
