A plan to provide sewer service along part of Ribaut Road in Port Royal is being cut back as the town works to stay within financial limits.
The original plan was about $1.3 million and would have included some of the neighborhoods. The revisions limit service improvements to the businesses between the Parris Island Bridge and Paris Avenu.

Also, town council met Saturday morning for its annual retreat. Councilmembers ran through a litany of concerns and projects, including department budgets and commercial and social improvements.
Among those concerns is how to deal with an aging fleet of vehicles, from the police and fire departments to public works.
