Folks keep asking when construction will start on the Port of Port Royal 52-acre residential and commercial development. The best answer I've had is, well, not until the developers buy the land.
The most recent agreement between the state Ports Authority and the Port Royal Development Group gives the two about two months to wrap up the sale. Town council addressed the time extension at Wednesday's meeting. Read more at Purchase of Port of Port Royal pushed back two months.
