He is on his second tour of duty in the Lowcountry. | USC Beaufort runners Selena Hutson and Katie Mock, a Ridgeland native, will compete again in the marathon at this year’s NAIA Track and Field National Championships in May after both achieved “A” standard qualifying times Saturday in the Hilton Head Half Marathon.
Hutson ran a time of one hour, 29 minutes, 39 seconds, and Mock wasn’t far behind, finishing in 1:30:51.
They will compete in the national championships in May at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
The USCB track team is in action Saturday at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance meet in Daytona Beach, Fla.
