TennisPro Magazine was honored for its standout publishing at the 23rd annual APEX Awards (Awards for Publishing Excellence), as announced today, according to a release. The magazine picked up two APEX Awards. TennisPro is the official publication of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), located on Hilton Head Island.
TennisPro was honored for its September/October 2010 issue for design and illustration in the covers category and for the November/December 2010 issue for magazine and journals in a category that included print over 32 pages.
The APEX awards are based on graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communication effectiveness, the release said.
"It's always nice to be recognized for your work, especially at the national and international level," said Peggy Edwards, editor of TennisPro. "Everyone at PTR feels strongly about providing our members with the very best educational materials, including TennisPro."
