Check out the winner of the Taste of the Season Best Holiday Cake contest
The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce's Taste of the Season came with a sweet twist this year, the Best Holiday Cake competition. Six local bakers whipped up their best themed cakes. Attendees of the annual culinary showcase voted on the best. And the winner is (drum roll, please) ...

More than 30 chefs were also on hand offering samples of their best dishes. Aqua Chef Eric Seaglund won Best Cuisine for his Walnut Encrusted Sea Bass served over Sweet Potato Risotto finished with a Cherry Gastrique. Red Fish came in second with Grilled Sea Bass with a Wasabi Cream Sauce and Soy Glaze served on a bed of Udon Noodles with Wakame Salad. Michael Anthony’s Veal Cheeks with Creamy Polenta won third.
