Golf a la Carte cookbook signing this weekend

Golf and fine dining might not be the first two things you associate with each other, but that doesn't mean the two don't go together. As it so happens, golf course clubhouses can feature some pretty good chefs in their own right. That's what the editors of Golf a la Carte had in mind when they put their series of cookbooks together.
Golf a la Carte collects recipes from some of the best golf course chefs in the country. The first volume, released in earlier this year, focuses on the southeastern part of the country. Several Hilton Head and Daufuskie Island chefs submitted recipes.
Editors James Y. Bartlett and D.G. Stern are making a "southern swing" book tour to sign copies of Golf a la Carte. The two will be at the Hilton Head Island Barnes & Noble near the entrance of Indigo Run from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Check out the story we ran about Golf a la Carte here. We featured a few of the recipes in the book.
